all in all a crazy week behind us both! the show went up at aviary gallery in JP and there was a HUGE turnout. trevor did an amazing job curating the show and seeing it out to it’s fullest potential. the feedback i got was wonderful, and i couldn’t be more happy to be showing with great friends, and amazing photographers.
josh and i finally got to have breakfast together. it was a beautiful weather weekend despite working for nearly all of it. never thought i would say this but…when will it get colder already??
looking forward to what lies ahead in the coming weeks/months/future!
this is just a preview but…

you’re all invited to come over on friday evening!

josh and i are taking a big step and moving in together! we are ecstatic and have found a great place in roslindale! i am definitely going to miss living in JP, but it’s not very far away at all. we have a roof deck that once we are settled, we will have a little part-A! hope to see you all there :o)
last week josh and i decided to go on a 24 hr. adventure to cape cod. we camped at nickerson state park and brought emma with us! we had a blast! we had crystal clear private lake access right at our campsite! we hope to do a lot more adventures like this during the summer.

BETWEEN HERE AND THERE (trailer)
come see my boof at the sidewalk sale! friday may 6th and saturday may 7th! I HAVE A LOT TO SELL!!!!
I wrapped up my one class of this semester last week and my final is tomorrow, which means my college days are close to being behind me. I definitely can’t wait to get a job and get into the professional workforce, but the past 5 years have been 5 of the best of my life.
ANYWAY! here’s a sweet shot of my final project. Its a redesign of an antique Edison Cygnet Horn that you would find on a really old phonograph. I used SolidWorks 2010 and it came out pretty good i think. Brass base with a mahogany bell.
Over the past couple months I have been applying to as many jobs as I can. It has been a lot of hard work but I’m starting to see the fruits of my labor. I had an interview at Pitco Frialator in Bow, NH
and Flexcon Industries in Randolph, MA

Pitco actually offered me the job! but I don’t think its the right job for me right now. Flexcon is a better fit (closer to Boston, close to the Blue Hills, they have a very beautiful factory and building, and a great hands on position) and I think they are interested in me, too, but only time will tell. I also have my first phone interview with an engineer from SIEMENS which is a HUGE engineering conglomerate… they make everything but I am engineering for the Healthcare Diagnostics department in Norwood, MA. That’s on Thursday so wish me luck!
Other than that I’ve been working part time at the original JP Licks as a scooper which is fun but the pay is a dismal $8/hr. Oh well hopefully I get an engineering job soon!!
Until next time! See ya!
this entire weekend i worked on framing my photographs to be shown at our graduating senior exhibition in late may. i decided to do all the work myself (with josh’s help and precision of course!) and got a lot done this weekend! nothing is fastened (and the pics aren’t matted) so it doesn’t look TOP notch but once it is, MAN is it gonna look GOOOOD! 12 frames in all… i’m exhausted!

the setup!

I will have one photograph in this show! The opening is this Thursday. Come on out!
Today Paige and I decided to take a car ride to the Blue Hills Reservation. Emma tagged along, too. Time to work off that winter blubber!
